We have an exciting opportunity for our sophomores and juniors!
If your cadet is interested in spending some extra time preparing for the ACT exam (College Admissions Exam) that will take place in April, we are offering an after-school class on Mondays starting February 2, 2026. The course will cost $50 (cash only). We will accommodate the first 30 cadets who turn in the course fee. The classes will run Mondays 2:08-2:53 and will be taught by content-expert teachers at Rickover Naval Academy. The 8-week course will focus on ACT Reading with some ACT English grammar for 4 weeks and ACT Math with some ACT Science for 4 weeks. Heavy emphasis will be placed in reading and math skills.
The course will include direct instruction on skills tested, test-taking strategies, and practice test questions. An official ACT-Prep book will be used and provided to your student. Books are property of the school. Fees for the class cover the pay for the instructor.
Students can begin signing up for the course on the following schedule:
Current Juniors: Payment window opens Tuesday, Jan 20.
Current Sophomores: Payment window opens Monday, Jan 26.
The course is first-come, first-served. We will close the class after 30 students have paid for the course.
If you would like to have your cadet take this course, please have your child fill out the form they received in their English class or they can grab one from the main office. Send your cadet with the form and $50 cash to give to Ms. Lili Aristizabal in the main office. This course is first come first served.
Your child will receive a receipt. The method of payment accepted is CASH. Personal checks are NOT accepted.
