Calling All Sea Dragons to Save Lives! Donate your blood at our first ever virtual Blood Drive!

Virtual Blood Drive InfoOur goal is 100 pints!  Please do schedule now to reserve your spot for Nov. 18- Dec.18. 
Before you schedule your appointment at Vitalant.org, fill out this form so we can be sure we get credit for your donation. Use the same email when you check in at the blood center as you do on this form, and Rickover will get credit for your donation AND also tell them 205D. 
Your donation will save lives AND earn the school a scholarship, which is given each year to a Rickover Naval Academy Senior.
Student incentives are 15 merits, 10 service learning hours, and a jean's day! All participants will receive a free, large, one-topping pizza from Papa Johns.
Students ask your parent, sibling, or friend to join you in giving the gift of life. You must be 16 or over to donate. 16 year olds need a signed consent form found at vitalant. org or here at our website.
Just use code 205D and we will earn credit for your donation and you will earn your rewards.
Schedule your appointment in ADVANCE as dates are moving fast. Schedule your appointment today for any date between Nov. 18 and Dec. 18.PLEASE NOTE: You do not use the code when scheduling the appointment online, you only use it at the center when you arrive to donate.
The locations nearest to Rickover are are in Jefferson Park (corner W. Foster Ave. and Milwaukee Ave. by Elly’s Restaurant) and also our Norridge Donor Center (at 5050 N. Cumberland Ave. in Norridge). There is also a donor center in Lincoln Park and inside the State of Illinois building in Downtown Chicago. In total we have 17 donor centers in the Chicagoland area to choose from. Let's get 100 pints together!
Worried you have had Covid?  If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 and recovered, your plasma may be able to help patients currently fighting the virus.

1) On antibiotics within 24 hours of the Drive 2) Sick the day of the Drive 3) Anemia 4) Gay male who has had intercourse with another male within the last year 5) Certain travel outside the US (these places are listed in the pre-assessment survey)
