RNA Writing Support Center
The Writing Support Center, which is located in Room 261, is for all students who want to talk to their peers about their immediate and long-range writing assignments. The tutors are prepared to provide assistance in any and all subject areas that contain a writing component. Assistance has been provided for a variety of assignments, such as English research papers, JROTC compositions and US History essays.
 
The Writing Support Center is a success because it provides a more relaxed atmosphere for students to learn from other students. The student tutors are chosen based on their higher level writing skills and their communication ability. By attending the Writing Support Center, students can get help with brainstorming ideas, planning a paper and peer-editing.
 
The Writing Support Center is open from 3-4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students are asked to make an appointment in advance. Any questions, please feel free to ask Mr. Amato, the Writing Support Center Director.
